Spread around the many areas of Hello Kitty Island Adventure are many Visitor Cabins that can play host to a huge number of different Sanrio characters. They all have unique requirements and schedules, so it can be hard to figure out how to attract certain ones.

My Melody’s Grandparents are two such visitors. They are a lovely elderly couple who visit every four weeks, and they’re not all that difficult to attract once you know how. Here’s everything you need to know to get them to your Cabins. 

My Melody’s Grandma and Grandpa visit schedule

Visiting only a few days every four weeks makes My Melody’s Grandma and Grandpa some of the rarest visitors that can appear, but it allows you time to prepare for their arrival. Before you can do that, though, you’ll need to know when they’ll appear. 

Here is when My Melody’s Grandparents will be available during the remainder of 2025:

  • February 13 – February 17
  • March 13 – March 17
  • April 10 – April 14
  • May 8 – May 12
  • June 5 – June 9
  • July 3 – July 7
  • July 31 – August 4
  • August 28 – September 1
  • September 25 – September 29
  • October 23 – October 27
  • November 20 – November 24
  • December 18 – December 22

How to get My Melody’s Grandma to visit in Hello Kitty Island Adventure

My Melody’s Grandma is a sweet old rabbit who gives Art Supplies when you talk to her daily during her visit. To attract her, you’ll need to set up a Visitor Cabin that meets the following requirements:

  • Must be in Seaside Resort (including Cozy Islands) to be near My Melody
  • Must have three pieces of furniture with the Cottage tag
  • Must have three items with the Creative tag
  • Must have three items with the Bakery tag

Once you’ve got her to visit, you can start to increase your friendship with her by completing the following Daily Quests:

How to get My Melody’s Grandpa to visit in Hello Kitty Island Adventure

They say that opposites attract, and this is true when it comes to My Melody’s Grandparents. While her Grandma favors more homely styles, her Grandpa seems to have more in common with Retsuko than his Granddaughter. If you talk to him during any of his visits, he will give you a copy of Sounds of Steel in return. 

Here’s how to set up a Visitor’s Cabin to lure My Melody’s Grandpa to Friendship Island:

  • Must be in Seaside Resort (including Cozy Islands) to be near My Melody
  • Must have three items with the Rocky tag
  • Must have three items with the Volcanic tag
  • Must have three items with the Metal tag
