There is no shortage of skins that you can purchase from the in-game store, but there are some that you can get for free simply by playing the game or if you play on a certain platform. The majority of them are paid, but you can also earn currency to buy them, so you don’t have to spend much money on the game if you don’t want to.

There are different ways to unlock the free skins in Marvel Rivals. One is a console exclusive, only available if you’re playing the game on the PS5. A few others can be obtained by completing Achievements, and that will take you a fair amount of time, but it’s worth it if you’re looking to enjoy the “free” in “free-to-play.”

While seasonal battle passes cost a bit of premium currency as well, you can also get free skins from within them if you don’t wish to buy them, but even those can be bought with earned Units that you get from playing the game and completing missions and other events.
