The MCC Party’s Mystery Cave Challenge involves a series of daily puzzles that can be tricky to decipher. Each clue will be given to you in the form of paintings, where you must uncover the secrets within the artwork. We’ll help you along this journey by showing you where to find the Mystery Cave and solve all its puzzles in the MCC x Minecraft 15th Anniversary Party.

Where to find Mystery Cave in Minecraft MCC Party 2024

To find the Mystery Cave in Minecraft’s MCC Party event, head to the right of Grid Runners to notice a tall mountain. It’ll be right above the Toy Store destination.

Look for a watery area and go inside it to transport yourself to the Mystery Cave entrance. Then, go deeper inside the cave to uncover painting clues. Seven paintings will be unlocked throughout the event, and you can speak to the NPC Puzzle Solver at the Mystery Cave for more information.

Puzzles will unlock daily for the first seven days of the Minecraft MCC Party event. Make sure to return to the Mystery Cave daily to solve all paintings. If you miss out on a challenge, don’t worry; an extra second week will be available for those who need to catch up.

All Mystery Cave puzzle solutions in Minecraft MCC Party 2024

For a quick overview of all Mystery Cave puzzle solutions in Minecraft, here’s what you can expect:

  1. Puzzle 1: Perform the Waving emote on top of the crown platform via the Main Lobby
  2. Puzzle 2: Use the Party Popper in front of the statue with blue eyes in Sands of Time
  3. Puzzle 3: Go through the trapdoor near the duck structure (by rainbow bridge)
  4. Puzzle 4: Use the Disco Ball in front of the character with star glasses in Grid Runners
  5. Puzzle 5: Consume a Cake Slice on the helipad in Meltdown
  6. Puzzle 6: Use the Birthday Fireworks on the peak of the mountain (near Mystery Cave)
  7. Puzzle 7: Perform a Clapping emote at Ace Race’s castle and kiss the frog at the top

Since Minecraft’s Mystery Cave Challenge can be difficult to complete, we’ll break down each one:

Puzzle 1

The first Minecraft Mystery Cave challenge presents a hand waving with a crown symbol. You can solve this by returning to the main lobby (use the Teleport Map to get there faster). Players must then step on top of the crown platform near the characters Jens and Agnes. Lastly, use the Waving emote to complete the challenge.

PC users can hit B to open Emotes, while console players can press left on their controller’s directional pad. The Emote must be performed on top of the crown, or else it won’t count toward the challenge.

Puzzle 2

For Puzzle 2, you’ll need to purchase a Party Popper with 40 coins from the Toy vendor. Remember, this shop is located below the Mystery Cave, with the cart sign. Once you’ve collected the item, go to the Sands of Time mini-game. Look to the left to spot a head structure with yellow eyes.

Once you’re near the head with yellow eyes, go toward the left side for your next target. You’ll need to jump on the wooden platform to reach the head with blue eyes, the structure that matches the painting. Travel there and use the Party Popper in front of it to complete the second Mystery Cave puzzle.

Puzzle 3 features a duck with a crown painting, which ties into the same structure near the Sands of Time. Go on top of the rainbow bridge to spot it.

Swim towards its beak and look around for a trapdoor. You can open it by going on top of the pressure plate nearby (marked with an arrow).

After you’ve gone through the trapdoor, you’ll need to travel deeper inside the hidden location. The goal here is to keep going up. So, if you see a raised platform, jump on top of it to reach the next area. Eventually, players will encounter a watery End Portal. Go through it to solve Puzzle 3 in Minecraft’s Mystery Cave challenge.

Puzzle 4

Similar to the second puzzle, you must get an item from the Toy store for the fourth challenge. Obtain the Disco Ball for 60 coins and make your way to the Grid Runners minigame. Once there, go to the right side and keep heading down this pathway (toward the left):

Travel all the way down to the Copy the Painting section. At this point, you can take the stairs by the presents.

Go up to the highest floor and take a right to enter a room filled with characters. This area will be just above the big presents. You’ll be looking for a character with star glasses. Use the Disco Ball in front of them to complete the next Mystery Cave puzzle.

Puzzle 5

You’ll need to buy a Cake Slice for 20 coins at the Food vendor for the following puzzle. This area will be under the giant chicken statue, in between Sands of Time and Ace Race. Next, travel to the Meltdown minigame and go to the ‘Join Queue’ controller. From there, you must travel through a nearby doorway on the right.

Take a left and head up the stairs to the following room:

Continue up this pathway and head towards the left side to spot an opening with yellow and black markings. Use the white platforms (marked with the arrow) to reach it.

Once inside, look to the right to locate a ladder to the upper floor. Hop up the boxes to get to it. Now it’s time to jump to the umbrella to get through an opening at a gate.

At the following destination, go on top of the crates to reach the L-shaped platform. Then, jump over another gate.

Jump several more times to reach the long metal beam (star symbol). By the end of it, hop on the diamond stairs.

Now, you’ll be able to reach the higher beam, taking you over to the other side.

Players will see a helipad from this point, where you’ll finally get to solve Mystery Cave Puzzle 5 in Minecraft.

Parkour your way over there and stand on top of the helipad. Consume the Cake Slice to solve the puzzle.

One of the last Mystery Cave puzzles mandates you to get the Birthday Fireworks. Acquire it from the Toy vendor for 40 coins. Afterward, go to the entrance of the Mystery Cave and travel to the side of the mountain.

Players must reach the top of the mountain by jumping up the various blocks. At the peak, you’ll need to use the Birthday Fireworks to solve the puzzle.

With the final Mystery Cave puzzle, players must equip the Clapping emote, similar to what they’ve done with the first challenge. Now, go to the Ace Race and begin the mini-game like you normally would. You’ll need to stop around the castle, where there will be a brown doorway. Perform the Clapping emote in front of it, opening it in the process.

Once inside, reach the top of the castle until you encounter a frog. Interact with it and select “Kiss the Frog.”

You’ll now earn the MCC Character Creator Item, thus completing all puzzles in Minecraft’s Mystery Cave.
