How to unlock the Ghost Whisperer trait in Sims 4 Life and Death
The latest Sims expansion gives a much-needed makeover to one of the previously overlooked occults, ghosts. Each Sim upon their death is able to become a wandering spirit, causing mischief or good fortune to those they come across.
Recommended VideosSims who are still alive might be scared or unnerved by these specters, however some will be in tune with them. Life and Death lets you unlock the Ghost Whisperer trait if you want your Sim to be close to the spirits, and here’s how you get it.
How to unlock the Ghost Whisperer trait in Sims 4 Life and Death
The only way to get the Ghost Whisperer trait without using Life and Death cheats is to complete the Ghost Historian aspiration. This aspiration focuses on leveling up the Thanatology skill and Writing skill, along with befriending ghosts and exploring Ravenwood.

Most of these tasks are fairly straightforward, such as leveling up skills, befriending ghosts, and writing a book. In order to find a rare item, head to Ravenwood and choose to explore any of the underground crypts around. These are rabbit holes that will let you choose which path to take. Keep exploring new ones until you get rare items.
Making contact with Edith is a bit more difficult since you’ll need to make contact with a few other Sims first. Find Alice in Ravenwood and choose to ask about Alice’s sorrow. This will kick off a short quest to contact various family members until you reach Edith. You only need to contact her once to satisfy the requirements. You can typically find Alice at the Well of Longing and Regret at Crow’s Crossing, where you can begin the quest.
Ghost Whisperer trait bonuses in Sims 4 Life and Death
The Ghost Whisperer trait comes with a few perks, most notably that you’ll have a much easier time making friends with ghosts. You’ll unlock new interactions to discuss all their spooky findings with others, and your Sim will also enjoy encountering all types of spirits, from crows to Grim.
Ghost Whisperers are the best Sims if you want to make friends with all the spirits in Ravenwood and beyond. It’s a great trait for those who live in town.
