Bonus Battles generally require you to beat up a bunch of characters in one go. Although most chapters will be pretty straightforward, a few have strict requirements. You’ll see that with one of the early Bonus Battles, Master Roshi’s Training, where Roshi will call out specific movesets to defeat him. He’ll shout these attacks every 20 seconds, including Kamehameha, Commencing Counterattack! (Rock, Paper, Scissors), and Goku’s Ultimate (strongest power).

I suggest lowering Master Roshi’s health bar and waiting for his next callout. Then, once the time is right, unleash the corresponding attack to eliminate him. If you don’t follow these instructions, you will fail the match, so make sure to use the proper moveset.

Besides Master Roshi’s Training, A Battle of Speed! Defeat Beerus! is probably the most difficult Bonus Battle. You’ll need to deal damage to Beerus consistently, or else you’ll instantly lose the match. It’s best not to transform here, as this will take up much of your time during the battle. Just keep practicing with each Sparking Zero Bonus Battle to get the hang of it, and you’ll obtain a ton of rewards in return.
