The geeky synthpop band Freezepop has appeared in a number of games already, owing to a relationship with Harmonix. Now there is a game that is uniquely Freezepop’s, made by band member Christmas Disco-Marie Sagan. It’s called Hot Air Balloons Are Everywhere They Are Driving Me Crazy, and is, “based around the TRUE STORY that inspired [their] new song Hot Air Balloons.”
Okay, so it’s an Asteroids clone with colorful vector balloons that don’t hurt you at all. Running atop this is a strange conversational exchange, the sort of bizarre random bullsh*t you start to riff on when you’re hanging out with someone whose company you really enjoy. It’s a playful bit of voyeurism and worth giving a look.
