We could use laughs, not pranks gone wrong
Recommended VideosIt’s a weird time right now.
A lot of planned April Fools’ jokes probably didn’t hit that send button after the coronavirus took hold (even Sega of Japan was like, “we’re not doing it this year” and Capcom was a bit more somber), but we could all use a collective laugh right now with some genuine good-hearted jokes.
Here’s some of the best 2020 has to offer us so far.
- Fantasy Battle Royale for PUBG
- Yoko Taro philosophically muses on the coronavirus situation
- World of Tanks: Turret Town
- A joke Newegg PC case mod
- Prinnies took over NIS
- A fake Platinum Games project that probably pissed a lot of people off
- A Warframe lifestyle show teaser
- A QuackShot remake that’s too cruel of a joke to fake, and perfectly summarizes why I don’t really like April Fools all that much
- A real Street Fighter tie-in called Neco Drop
- A “Tales Of” fighting game
- Zombie Army on Game boy
- A fake Death Stranding movie poster
- Overwatch has googly eyes
- Dragon Quest Walk fitness promo
- A Final Fight/Boxboy crossover that should probably exist
- A fake Arika fighting game that could become a real thing because Fighting EX Layer did
- Oceanhorn Virtual Boy port VR edition
- A fake Guilty Gear platforming lobby system that also should probably exist
- A retro game all about Feh, the mascot of Fire Emblem Heroes
- Swery brings up D4, which is still an open wound for this D4 fan
