Here are the details on Nintendo's Super Smash Bros. tournament at E3

Recommended VideosIt’s sort of beginning to feel as if Nintendo’s engaging in guerrilla warfare with the E3 festivities. Most of the things that it has planned aren’t necessarily traditional, but have people excited nonetheless. A Super Smash Bros. on Wii U tournament is just the latest way Nintendo’s bucking trends.
On Tuesday June 10, Nintendo’s showing off more, of Super Smash Bros. by hosting a tournament at 4:00 p.m. PDT at the Nokia Theatre, which is located very close to the L.A. Convention Center where E3 takes place. It will also be streaming live on Twitch.
The playable characters will be made up of Little Mac, Zero Suit Samus, Bowser, Wii Fit Trainer, Marth, Mega Man, Pit, Villager, Pikachu, Mario, Link, Kirby, Samus, Rosalina & Luma, Sonic, Donkey Kong, Greninja, Pikmin & Olimar, Zelda, and Fox. The competitors will be prominent personalities and players in the Smash community, and Geoff Keighley will be the host for the whole affair. Also, the recently announced GameCube controller functionality will be on display.
Anyone that wishes to attend should read through the event’s webpage. Entry is limited to 3,000 people, and Nintendo’s going to begin handing out wristbands at 9:30 a.m. PDT the day of the tournament. Make sure to get there early!
