Recently, Tekken producer Katsuhiro Harada announced that an idol-themed character named Lucky Chloe would be making it into Tekken 7. People complained, and Harada noted that instead, US fans would get a Chuck Norris-type character with a gun. Many people thought he wasn’t kidding as his tweets didn’t really indicate that it was in jest, but he has since clarified that every character will be in every version, including Chloe.

He says that “Media will see only what they want to see. Then I said just counter sarcasm/joke. Anyway, We promise an experience equal for all players, communities. Haven’t changed since the first TEKKEN.”

So don’t worry, it looks like Chloe will make it in after all and won’t be a “region exclusive.”
