Kinect up in your Halo, ya’ll. Microsoft confirms that the anniversary edition of Halo: Combat Evolved will include Kinect support. What exactly was said? Not much. Phil Spencer said this to GameSpot: “As a first party we believe that Kinect will be important to all genres of games, be it racing games with Forza, combat games like Ryse — even games like Halo Anniversary has Kinect integration.”
In other words, we have no idea how Halo will use Kinect. I’m not expecting much. Maybe there will be a few optional modes and some menu control. Maybe voice commands. I’m sure we’ll hear more closer to the game’s November 15th release.
