Capcom has finally nailed down a January 11 release date for its upcoming Nintendo DS title, Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective.

Designed by Ace Attorney daddy Shu Takumi, the game has players controlling real-world objects from the spirit world to solve your own murder, and influencing (and changing) the fate of the game’s characters.

I spent a decent amount of time with the game earlier this year, and it immediately jumped onto my “most wanted” list. I was sad to hear about the delay (it was originally set to ship this holiday), but I’m better off for it with all of the games that are sitting on my desk right now. Early 2011 is already looking up!
