If you love hacking and slashing and crawling your way through dingy dungeons in a fantasy setting, April is a good month for you. Gameloft has confirmed that its PlayStation Network action-RPG, Dungeon Hunter: Alliance, will be available next month.

Gameloft already found some success on mobile platforms with its Dungeon Hunter series; the titles were solid and fun action-RPG games, although not entirely original in their design. The PSN version adds a bit value to the mix by including up to four player cooperative play both online and off.

This new trailer gives you a good idea of what to expect, including a lot of magic, loot, giant spiders, and killer dogs. Also spotted in the clip is the PlayStation Move icon, which appears over a treasure chest during one of the action sequences. Gameloft hasn’t specifically mentioned Move support, so it’s unclear how that will work.

Anyone up for some dungeon hunting action?
