No sleep for Rockstar

Grand Theft Auto Online sounds like a good time — if you can get in, and work past the first half hour or so of gameplay and its less-than-ideal design choices. Connection problems have been preventing some players from experiencing Online which shouldn’t come as a surprise given the popularity of GTA V but is still annoying nonetheless. An update is on the way.

“We’re currently working on a title update for both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 to address commonly reported issues with GTA Online,” writes Rockstar. “We hope to have it out for download as soon as tomorrow.” I’d like to participate, but at this rate, I might as well just wait for the studio to iron out these and other issues. Less frustration that way, certainly.

How’s your time with Online gone so far? I’d love to hear stories from people who have managed to play. There are over 11,000 comments on Rockstar’s blog post. Staggering to think about.
