The concert series Distant Worlds: Music from Final Fantasy is going full force this July. There’s several dates this month all over the United States, so be sure to get your tickets as soon as possible. I know that the Friday, July 16th show in San Francisco will include the Final Fantasy IV epic song “Dancing Mad.” That is going to be incredible.

Here are the July dates. Know that all dates except the Washington D.C. one will be attended by the man himself, composer Nobuo Uematsu.

  • San Francisco, July 15
  • San Francisco, July 16
  • San Diego, July 22
  • Houston, July 24
  • Washington D.C., July 30
  • Toronto, November 27

In related news, there will be a release party for the second Distant Worlds album. On Monday, July 19th, at Royal/T in Culver City, both Nobuo Uematsu and Arnie Roth will attend the Distant Worlds II CD launch party. Admission is $60, and includes an autographed copy of the CD, a photo op with the guests, and a signed limited edition poster.

The official Distant Worlds webpage has more information on the concert dates and this launch event.
