If you’re going in order of the Shared FATEs screen, you’ll likely head to Kozama’uka after completing the required 66 FATEs in Urqopacha. Kozama’uka is filled with FATEs, which spawn pretty quickly, and there’s a lot of bonus FATEs which offer increased amounts of EXP and Bicolor Gemstones.

Unlike in both Shadowbringers and Endwalker, you’ll only need to complete 66 FATEs in each area to complete Rank 3. This is 20 less than previous expansions, so there’s not much excuse to avoid doing this grind.

Here’s how many FATEs you’ll need to do to complete each Rank in Dawntrail areas:

  • Rank 1 (6 FATEs)
  • Rank 2 (20 FATEs)
  • Rank 3 (40 FATEs)

Once the last 40 FATEs are completed, you’ll have full access to the local Gemstone Trader and all of their wares.

To find the Gemstone Trader in Kozama’uka, head to Ok’hanu and cross the bridge to the north west of the Aetheryte there. The Gemstone Trader here is called Kunuhali, and can be found at (X:17.4, Y:11.0).

Here’s everything you can get from Kunuhali, how much they cost and which level they unlock:
