Now working its way through stretch goals

It’s pleasant to find out that a cool-looking game like the 2D action-adventure Delver’s Drop does, in fact, look cool to other people as well. With less than a week to go, this title has safely secured enough money for funding and has since moved into stretch goals. Break out the party hats, but don’t have too much to drink or get confetti everywhere just yet.

Some of the optional goals include day-and-date Linux support (already funded), a four-person deathmatch like “Smash Bros. meets Zelda: Four Swords,” zone and class expansions, a 100-room puzzle mode, and also a two-person co-op “companion mode” where one player is a mystical pet that acts as a sidekick. See the full list on the Kickstarter page.

Of course, it’s that last stretch goal I’m interested in — the one that grants us a port to consoles. At the current rate contributions are coming in, the necessary $240,000 is far from guaranteed.
