Following a tease made at PAX East by Epic Games’ president Mike Capps that the studio “might be working on a PC-only title,” Joystiq caught up with him to get further information.
He didn’t have much else to say about the project yet, though Capps did comment that the unannounced game is happening and it’s currently underway. Yes, this is one of those stories us bloggers pump out to fill the missing slots in our schedule. File this under “Oh. Good to know, I guess.”
As much as I dig Gears of War, I’m happy to see Epic work on something else. I’d imagine some will point to this being a new Unreal Tournament, but that’s too obvious, isn’t it? So long as it’s not a Facebook game, I don’t really care what it ends up being.
