Cue the ‘hnnnnnghs’

We already knew that Vanillaware’s upcoming Dragon’s Crown will feature raw four player cooperative action involving six classes, and a robust leveling system to encourage multiple playthroughs. But according to Siliconera, Famitsu is reporting that some form of PVP will also be in the game, with support for both offline and online play.

Not many details have been provided, but it is said to be arena-based. My guess is it’ll involve a few (possibly just one) small arenas, and provide a simple way for players to test out their creations against others. Honestly, it works for me, as I love it when beat-’em-ups have any form of PVP in them (anyone else rock Turtles in Time’s Versus mode?).

So again, this doesn’t change anything — I still have dibs on the Wizard!
