As announced in the Nintendo Direct Mini this morning, Tropical Freeze will hit the Switch in a few months.

No, Nintendo isn’t calling it Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze POLAR EDITION or anything, just the plain old original title. It’s the original game, with multiplayer and all (including portable multiplayer), with a new twist — Funky Kong! He’s a “chill” character as Nintendo calls him, which permeates throughout his entire life philosophy and playstyle. Funky sports a double jump, hover, infinite rolls, and infinite corkscrews underwater — he seems like an easy mode of sorts and looks really fun to play.

This port will arrive on May 4.
