In this scene, I play the part of an eager young schoolboy while Headmaster Holmes whispers words of invigorating encouragement softly into my ear, inviting me into a world beyond any I have ever known. Or I was playing DmC: Devil May Cry and Holmes was just cracking wise. One of the two.
As I mentioned at the start of the video, I haven’t played a Devil May Cry game since the PS2 original, but from what I’ve experienced with this reboot, it’s the same frantic hack-and-slash action we all know and love. For all those complaining about Dante’s black hair, it turns white during his Devil Trigger state, so there you go. Compromise.
The boss of the demo is a big, pulsating slug creature with a Big Glowing Weak Point(TM). As the battle progresses, it reveals a deadlier second form that manifests in the physical world as a fat British man.
