Digital Foundry on Arkham Knight PC: 'No improvements from interim patch in September'

Except for provisions for DLC
Recommended VideosWell, this is awkward. Although Batman: Arkham Knight has returned to Steam, all is not well with the game even after multiple patches, and a giant interim patch last month. In fact, investigating further, Eurogamer’s Digital Foundry notes that it’s essentially the same build from the interim state. The reality is actually worse:
We asked Digital Foundry to take a quick look at the game as it stands – the results suggest that Batman: Arkham Knight today has seen no further improvements from its interim patch back in September.
The only noticeable changes were the addition of support for add-on and season pass content.
This whole situation is rather crazy in regards to how the publisher has responded to fans. Within a week and a half of release, Ubisoft removed the Season Pass from the marketplace for Assassin’s Creed Unity, and made the Dead Kings DLC free for everyone on all platforms, including PC. Additionally, they gave Season Pass holders access to two full Ubisoft games (including Far Cry 4) and the first episode of Assassin’s Creed Chronicles.
Owners of Arkham Knight on PC got…a challenge room pack that will debut in 2016, and past games in the series, six months after release in December. And the game is still broken.
