Devil's Third E3 trailer says game is playable at TGS
Oh, how is this promotional video for The Devil’s Third strange? Let me count the ways.
First, it features Japanese talent Hard Gay. That should have tipped me off from the beginning that there was no way I would understand what was about to transpire. He’s on the hunt to find Itagaki at Valhalla Studios and takes plenty of time to observe/annoy the people working there. He then finds the infamous designer in a lounge filled with strippers and TVs showing footage of The Devil’s Third.
And then, to cap it off, Itagaki reveals that the game will be playable at Tokyo Game Show later this year. It’s a funny thing to say in a video clearly titled and sent to press as something relating to next week’s Electronic Entertainment Expo. Hell, maybe that’s the big announcement. It just seems somewhat silly to use one show to announce that your game will be seen at a completely different show.
