Deus Ex: Human Revolution on PC will use Steamworks

Hard to believe Deus Ex: Human Revolution isn’t releasing until late August. The PC version, as was revealed today by Square-Enix, is set to use Steamworks. It’s the obvious choice, for sure, but not necessarily a guaranteed one. As per usual, automatic updates, cloud saving, and achievements are supported.
It was also recently disclosed that the PC version will do DirectX 11, AMD Eyefinity (up to five monitors), and 3D, should you have the necessary equipment to make use of any of these fancy technologies. PC Gamer has the scoop.
At the time of writing, Human Revolution isn’t up for pre-order; it ought to be, by the time you see this. Pre-launch pricing is $44.99 for the standard edition, and $53.99 for the Augmented edition. The latter includes a digital art book, making-of special, various videos, a motion graphic novel, the soundtrack, and a copy of Deus Ex: Game of the Year Edition.
