Fresh off its revealed partnership with Nintendo to bring the revered Japanese publisher’s properties to smart devices, DeNA isn’t holding back with its expectations. It won’t settle for anything less than a giant player base, and, in turn, huge revenue streams.

In an interview with Reuters, DeNA Chief Executive Isao Moriyasu said that he wants to make mobile games with Nintendo that bring in over three billion yen ($25.02 million) per month. That’s a lofty goal for sure, but if anyone has the stable of titles to do it, it’s Nintendo.

To provide some context as to what that goal means for DeNA, it’s only once had a game hit those figures: Kaito Royale, which was turned into a television series. Moriyasu elaborated on the projection — especially as it pertains to Kaito Royale — by saying “We want to create games that will be played by hundreds of millions of people. We want to create multiple hit games rather than aiming to succeed with just one powerful IP element.”

In the two weeks following the announcement, public-facing progress has been rather slow. There’s no word yet of what the first expected title to come from this partnership will be. However, Moriyasu said that it should release before the year’s over.
