$60 otherwise if you want the expansion

Chris liked Dying Light well enough, and I did too, back at the lovely Rely on Horror. I haven’t played it since it released earlier this year, but the way Techland is handling the new Enhanced Edition is compelling me to jump back in. Anyone who currently owns the game will get access to a host of new changes that are coming. Here’s a list of some of the coming improvements:

  • Legend System (You can keep leveling after the cap for stat bonuses)
  • Nightmare Difficulty
  • New parkour moves
  • New enemy attacks & behaviors
  • New NPC models
  • Console performance upgrades
  • Overall look & feel improvements

…Which is all stuff that Dying Light could sorely use. If you don’t already own the game, you can get the Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition, which includes the base game and the coming expansion (for which Brett detailed the recent price hike here), as well as the litany of aforementioned new stuff.

I also had a chance to talk to Techland’s Maciej Binkowski about the expansion, which you’ll see either later tonight or tomorrow.
