Capcom explains how Resident Evil: Revelations came about

Recommended VideosCapcom is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the up and down Resident Evil series (which is hopefully returning to its roots soon), and they’re joined by Michiteru Okabe and Yasuhiro Anpo (series producer and director, respectively) to share some development stories.
This particular clip goes into the Revelations series, explaining how the pair of games came about and what their philosophy was going in. While I adored Revelations 2, especially for its killer Raid Mode, I didn’t really buy the first Revelation‘s pitch, and thought it didn’t really commit to its premise (the claustrophobic Jill bits are ace, but half the game is Chris shooting wolves in an open tundra or on a beach, and don’t get me started on Grinder and Jackass).
