Fighting against unauthorized uploads
Recommended VideosSadly, folks have been abusing the mod system that Bethesda has set in place for Fallout 4, and have been re-uploading creations from Nexus Mods and other similar sites from other parties. Bethesda has vowed to put a stop to this practice, and is working hard to create a multi-pronged solution, which includes authenticating Bethesda.net accounts (required for uploading) with Steam.
It’s a noble effort, and I hope it pans out, as the ability to use free mods on consoles (a feature coming to the Skyrim Remaster) is killer. Mods are currently live on PC and Xbox One, and are slated for release on PS4 this month.
