Next week, on May 4th, D3Publisher will launch Bangai-O HD: Missile Fury on Xbox Live Arcade. It’s arcade shooting with puzzle elements just like the original Treasure game, but now with 100-plus levels of missiles going every which way, in glorious HD. It will speak to both puzzle and shooter fans, as you’ll see in the trailer above.

Aside from the standard projectile insanity there’s a level creator and co-op multiplayer to fudge around with. This game has to have broken some kind of record for most things flying around on a screen. Someone should check into that.
