Awesome Resident Evil short has typewriters and unlocking

Recommended VideosI have admitted in the past to finding dumb pleasure in the Paul W. S. Anderson Resident Evil movies. But even though I enjoy them, I wouldn’t exactly be opposed to a different film treatment that, you know, actually adhered to the source material.
Rocket Jump, the studio behind Video Game High School, received Capcom’s blessing to whip up a cool little RE short. Resident Evil: Down With the Sickness was originally posted last year on the Rocket Jump site, but I doubt most of you caught it then — I didn’t either. It’s on YouTube now, so we have no excuse anymore.
Despite having no characters from the film, Down With the Sickness is a much more faithful adaptation than anything Anderson has cooked up. I totally lost it when the one dude spots a typewriter and feels the need to “save a record of these events.”
