Well, this is an interesting little factoid.

While chatting on Twitter about upcoming 3DS themes for The Legend of Dark Witch, Circle Entertainment noted that nine of them will be coming to Europe, and four to North America. When asked about the disparity, Circle replied that Nintendo of America only allow games to have four themes as a maximum.

It’s such a weird arbitrary thing, like the demo play limits on 3DS, but I find little things like this to be fascinating. I love to hear how all of the different branches of Nintendo operate worldwide.
