Nevermind brings biofeedback horror to Steam Early Access

Fear is the mind killer
Recommended VideosTruth be told, I mostly wanted to cover Nevermind, a horror adventure game in which you delve into the subconscious minds of psychological trauma victims, because of this image. Look away!
With a premise so strongly rooted in the surreal, there should be plenty of opportunities to get real creepy. And folks who happen to own a biofeedback sensor can take it one step further: Nevermind “will detect subtle increases in feelings of anxiety while playing, prompting the game to dynamically respond to those feelings of fear and stress as you progress throughout the game.”
Kickstarter has given the team at Flying Mollusk enough funding to create three levels. Now that Nevermind is on Steam Early Access, the hope is to bring in enough money to fund new levels (for a total of at least five), virtual-reality support, professionally-voiced dialogue, better overall polish, and more extensive biofeedback sensor support. The full release should be out in late October.
Our own cuddle buddy Jonathan Holmes interviewed creator Erin Reynolds just last month.
