Mirror's Edge follow-up still being teased by EA
Remember when DICE and Electronic Arts weren’t trying to compete with Call of Duty and the result was the stunning and original (but flawed) Mirror’s Edge? That was cool.
Maybe the game didn’t do so well at retail, but I think it’s safe to say gamers would love to see a sequel. Development on a sequel was reportedly halted, but there’s still hope… at least folks from EA would continue to have us believe.
“We have not abandoned the franchise,” EA’s Patrick Söderlund told GamesStar of a follow up. “And, you know, we are working on something — but I’m not willing to talk more about that.”
See, everyone — “something.” That’s, you know… something, right? It’s been three years since I last played (and reviewed) Mirror’s Edge; I think it’s time I pulled that one of the vault to give another go.
