Platinum Games has announced a brand new game that may or may not be some form of followup to MadWorld. It’s called Max Anarchy and it’ll be the studio’s first online combat game. 

Max Anarchy will be coming to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and a screenshot in Famitsu shows characters battling with chainsaws and torches. Of particular note is the inclusion of MadWorld protagonist Jack, which could indicate some sort of franchise continuation. Unlike MadWorld, this particular game will be in full color.

SEGA will be publishing it in Japan some time this year.
