Developer Halfbrick has just released a new developer diary that details how they decided to make Machine Gun Jetpack more interesting: Vehicles. Weird, weird vehicles. My favorite of the bunch has got to be the Profit Bird because it totally poops out a trail of money when it flaps its wings.
Vehicles in Machine Gun Jetpack seems to follow Super Mario Brothers logic in that you revert back to your normal form upon taking a hit, and you will die if you are hit again. The game is set to come out some time next month on the App Store, but further vehicles will be released for free after the game’s release. If nothing else I look forward to what other vehicles Halfbrick manages to come up with. The stuff they’re showing off here is interesting enough as it is.
